FABRIC DELIVERY

I absolutey love fabric delivery day!!!  This batch is almost all sewing prints:  vintage machines, safety pins and scissors.  I've been listing like mad on folksy and ebay but can't wait to start sewing.  Here are some pictures of the fabric.

Cushions

I've been working on some cushions for an upcoming craft fair this Saturday and as a possible "class/workshop" in Manchester.  I've been playing around some embroidery ever since I found a nice tracing pattern of a dress maker's dummy.  I've also been saving some Laura Wishburn fabric for my personal stash.  Here they are.....

Beginner's Knitting at the Classroom

I held my first class on Tuesday April 19th at The Classroom on School lane. It was a beginner's knitting class/make your first scarf. Four new knitting converts attended. They were a very friendly bunch and a pleasure to spend the evening with. The lovely Laura, owner of Airyfairy cupcakes and The Classroom, supplied some amazing cakes, teas and coffees.

Teacup pin cushions and needle books



I've amassed a mound of fabic scraps.  They will soon take over the room, and then the world.  I've also got a stall at a craft fair this weekend and decided this was the time to put those scraps to good use.  Here is the result....
